Accomplishments and Events
Committee members participate regularly in programs and communications with the ICEO, Work/Life Center, ERGs and other groups. We attend events, initiate conversations, share information, and explore strategies to overcome challenges and barriers to fostering a more caring community.

Donation drive for adults experiencing homelessness in the Boston area, in partnership with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program.
- Quality of Life survey
Workplace civility, work schedule flexibility, and opportunities for mentoring were addressed in this key support staff QoL survey. The data showed a need for additional mentoring for growth opportunities and greater job satisfaction. The data also indicated DLCs are trending toward more flexible work schedules.
Data from the 2016 Quality of Life quadrennial survey will be used to inform practices and office cultures supporting a more civilized and compassionate work environment.
- RAK Week
Community members’ experiences during Random Acts of Kindness Week, March 28-April 1, 2016, were collected to chronicle actions, and share observations. This informal google survey was promoted by the MindHandHeart Initiative.
Civility and Respect co-chair served on the planning committee of this pivotal forum.
